We crochet a bouquet of sunflowers. Knitting patterns. Crochet napkin “Sunflower” - diagram and description in the master class Large crocheted sunflower

09.01.2024

A decorative pillow in the shape of a sunflower will be a wonderful interior decoration.

The base of the pillow is knitted from yarn " ALPINA Roland" This yarn is ideal for knitting natural motifs due to its wide range of natural melange shades. The yarn is 100% silky alpaca wool, which makes it soft and pleasant to the touch.

For work we need:

The diameter of the pillow base is 28 cm, the dimensions of the petal are 10x13 cm.

To knit the middle of the sunflower we use ALPINA “Roland” yarn (No. 36 light brown) and a “Gamma” hook No. 3.5 mm (RHP). We knit in three threads.

A pattern imitating the embossed center of a sunflower will be formed by changing the direction of knitting and making double crochets behind different walls of the loops of the previous row.

1.Knitting starts from the center of the circle. In order for the center of the flower to turn out beautiful, it is necessary to make an adjustable loop or an “amigurumi” loop.

Its main advantage is the ability to carefully tighten the center of the knitting after completing the first rows, so that there is no hole in the product where the knitting begins.

Make a loop about 2.5 cm from the end of the thread. Place the working thread between the index and middle fingers.

Insert the hook into the loop, grab the working thread and pull it out in front of the loop.

Grab the working thread and pull it through the resulting loop.

Now insert the working thread and tighten. This loop is not considered the first stitch in the ring.

Place the hook from below under both threads, forming a large loop. Let's grab the working thread.

We knit three air loops for lifting.

1 row.

We knit 12 double crochets into a loop. We try to knit loosely, without tightening it too much. The thread is very soft and durable, easy to knit.

Using a connecting loop, we close the loops into a circle.

Pull the tail at the beginning of knitting, thereby tightening the large loop on which we knitted double crochets.

2nd row. We knit 3 air loops. We continue tying the circle.

To expand the circle, we knit 3 double crochets in each loop.

It turned out to be 36 double crochets.

We knit a connecting stitch and close the 2nd row of the circle.

3rd row- 3 air loops up for lifting. Turn the knitting over to the reverse side.

We knit to the end of the row in the following sequence: *2 double crochets in one loop, 1 double crochet*.

We knit the last double crochet and use a connecting stitch to close the knitting into a circle.

4 row. We knit 3 lifting air loops.

Yarn over, insert the hook behind the back wall of the loop, and pull the thread through.

Then we knit it like a regular double crochet.

We knit in a circle. In the same way we knit rows 3, 5, 7, 9, 11.

Turn the canvas over. Using regular double crochets we knit even rows (4, 6, 8, 10) without increments.

Following the rule of knitting a circle, we make increases in odd rows: we knit 2 double crochets in one loop:

in the 3rd row through 1 loop,

in the 5th row through 2 loops,

in the 7th row through 3 loops,

in the 9th row through 4 loops.

Turn the fabric over when knitting each row.

back side

We knit the back side of the pillow with double crochets according to the rules of knitting a circle.

To knit petals we take yarn « ALPINA"“Vera” (05 yellow) and hook “Gamma” RHP No. 2.5 mm.

We knit 15 chain stitches for the chain.

1 row. In the 3rd loop from the hook we knit 1 double crochet.

There were 12 double crochets until the end of the row.

To round the petal, we knit 5 double crochets into the first loop of the chain.

And another 12 double crochets to the end of the row.

2nd row. Turn the knitting over and knit 3 air loops for lifting.

We knit 12 double crochets.

For rounding - 2 double crochets in each of the 5 double crochets of the previous row.

3rd row. Turn over the knitted fabric. We collect 3 air loops for lifting. We knit 12 double crochets in each loop.

To round off, we knit 2 double crochets into each loop of the previous row. We knit 12 double crochets in each loop.

4 row. Turn over the knitted fabric. We knit 3 double crochets for lifting and knit 10 double crochets.

For rounding. Knit 24 single crochets.

We tie each petal with a “crawfish step”. To do this, do not turn the knitted fabric over and continue to knit from left to right with single crochets.

In this way you need to knit 20 petals.

Sewing parts.

Arrange the petals on the back of the pillow in 2 rows as follows:

We take a needle, thread a brown thread and sew the petals of the first row (10 pieces) to the knitted base.

Sew the second row of petals in the same way. Then we apply a second knitted base and sew the parts together, inserting padding polyester inside.

Required material:

Brown threads

Yellow threads

The head of the hook should be 1.5-2 times thicker than the threads. For example, wool yarn - hook No. 4-5.

Knitting a circle.

1. Crochet in the round starting from the center ring. Knit a chain of 6 chain stitches.

2. Close the chain into a ring, i.e. insert the hook into the first loop, grab the thread and pull it through the loops on the hook.

3. We will knit the first circular row of 12 single crochets (st. b/n).

We insert the hook into the center of the ring, grab the thread, pull out the loop, grab the thread again and knit two loops on the hook. We knit another 11 sts. b/n similar.

4. In the second row we need to evenly add 12 tbsp. b/n., so we will knit 2 tbsp in each loop.

In the 3rd row again we need to evenly add 12 tbsp.

5. Subsequent rows are knitted similarly. The circle is ready.

We knit sunflower petals.

1. Using yellow threads from the circle, we knit a chain of 16 chain stitches.

2. Connect the chain into a ring.

3. Tie the chain with double crochets.

Sequence of doing double crochets:

A) Yarn over.

B) Insert the hook into the chain of air loops, hook the thread, and pull it through the loop. On our hook: a new loop, yarn over, main loop.

B) Now hook the thread and pull it through the first two loops. There are two loops left on the hook.

D) Again, hook the thread and pull it through two loops again. The double crochet is ready.

4. We tie the entire chain with double crochets. The petal is ready.

5. Similarly, we knit the remaining petals around the circle.

6. The potholder is ready.

Our work in play areas.

I am a golden sunflower!

The children all know me.

Good afternoon

And again about sunflowers. I've been meaning to crochet a sunflower for a long time.

Although I never thought before that I would do any kind of crafts, I only knitted pullovers and vests, sometimes napkins, I almost never had to knit.

But it turns out that for wealth and happiness at home you need to have sunflowers (and also)! So you have to link.

Seriously speaking, since the creation of the blog, thanks to the enormous possibilities of the Internet, I now want to implement many interesting ideas, especially since I really like sunflowers in the interior. I have already tried to decorate a small cabinet in the kitchen with images of sunflowers. And knitting for the home especially gives great pleasure.

I thought for a long time about how to crochet a sunflower, either in the form of a potholder or a napkin, then I began to lean toward the idea of a refrigerator magnet with coffee beans in the center, this idea is very popular now.

But as always, there is one thing - time! Every day I hear from everyone, where can I find time? Why is he so missed?

One day I saw on the Internet a photo of an interesting panel in the form of a simple bright flower. And here it is - inspiration! And the time was immediately found! True, just a little bit, so the knitting took a long time, but now I want to show what an almost real crocheted sunflower flower I got.

Crochet sunflower master class

I specially bought the yarn for crocheting a sunflower in the store - my favorite half-wool yarn for needlework in yellow and green.

Hook – number 2.

For the panel you will also need:

  • seeds
  • glue Moment
  • cardboard
  • scissors
  • a little ribbon for the loop.

Knitting the central part of a sunflower

Everything is simple here, you need to knit a regular circle with single crochets. We cast on 6 VP with yellow yarn and close it into a ring. I decided to make the central part yellow - this is exactly the color of a sunflower in nature. Of course, you can knit it with brown or black yarn in lush columns that imitate seeds. But I did it differently.

In the first row there are 12 columns, in the second we add one column to each column of the previous row, in the 3rd row we add increments through one column, in the 4th row we add through two columns and so on according to the rule of knitting a circle until the required size.

The size of my circle is 14 cm in diameter.

Knitting sunflower petals

For the petal we collect 16 VP.

We knit single crochets on this chain (we knit the first stitch on the 5th loop of the chain).

We reach our circle, 1 connecting post under the loop of the circle.

We turn the work and continue knitting on the other side of the chain as follows:

1VP, 1СБН, 2С1Н, 6С2Н, 2С1Н, 2СБН, at the end of the chain – 5 СБН in one loop.

2СБН, 2С1Н, 6С2Н, 2С1Н, 1СБН, 1 connecting post for the circle loop (the central part of the sunflower).

We stretch the thread with connecting posts through two loops of the base of the petal and 3 loops of the last row of the central part of the sunflower.

On the third loop we begin to knit the next petal.

In this way we crochet all the sunflower petals.

Because the petals are close together, they overlap each other somewhat. We straighten them one at a time: one petal from below, one from above. This creates the effect of two rows of petals.

A crocheted sunflower is almost emerging; we still need to knit the leaves for it.

Knitting twigs with leaves

We knit a twig with leaves in the same way as a sunflower petal.

We dial a long chain of VPs (I dialed 60).

We tie it with columns on both sides, at the same time tying out the leaves first on one side, then on the other.

For the leaf, just like when knitting a sunflower petal, we knit a chain of 16 VP and tie it as follows:

1VP, 1СБН, 1С1Н, 2С2Н, 3С3Н, 2С2Н, 2С1Н, 2СБН, at the end of the chain - 5 СБН in one loop and then in the reverse order on the other side of the chain.

After about 10 stitches of the twig, I knitted another leaf.

Sunflower panel

Iron the finished parts using a damp cloth.

Cut out a circle from cardboard with a slightly larger diameter than the central part of the sunflower so that it covers part of the base of the petals.

Glue the sunflower flower onto the cardboard, and do not forget to insert a loop of braid between them.

Glue the twig with leaves onto a piece of cardboard, and then cut out and glue this part to the sunflower flower.

Now all that remains is to decorate the flower with seeds – the real ones!

Glue the seeds in a circle.

I was in the mood for long, painstaking and boring work, but it turned out that everything was not so scary. It only took 30 minutes!

Beautiful knitted potholders create a cozy atmosphere in the kitchen and help in work. Related crochet potholder sunflower with a lush yellow trim and a dark central part, it is very similar to a real sunflower flower.

To knit potholders, it is better to use medium-thick yarn and hook No. 3; use thin threads in two folds. When knitting the central part, you can connect a thin black and dark brown thread, and for knitting the petals, connect yellow in the first row with a cream-colored thread, then with yellow and in the final two rows with orange. Tie the last row of petals with green or brown yarn. This color combination will make the flower colorful.

To start knitting, cast on 5 chain stitches, close them in a connection ring. Art. To start the first row, make 3 chain stitches. lift + 4 air.p. Next, from the initial ring, knit 5 treble s/n with one vertex. To do this, make a yarn over the hook, * insert the hook into the central ring, grabbing the working thread, pull out the loop. Grab the working thread again and knit a new loop and yarn over from the hook. Without finishing knitting the first stitch, to knit the second, yarn over the hook, repeat from *. When 5 unknitted columns are formed on the hook, grab the working thread and knit them together, throwing all the loops off the hook, a “bump” with a sharp top is formed. Next, knit according to the pattern 4 chain stitches.

In the first row, knit 4 “bumps” from 5 tbsp in a circle. s/n, after 4 air.p. and 1 cone from 4 tbsp. s/n, finally make a connection. Art. into the 3rd lifting loop.

To start knitting the second row, also cast on 3 chain stitches, knit “bumps” from 5 sts. s/n, after 4 air stitches, making 2 “bumps” from one arch. For the first stitch, yarn over the hook, *insert the hook behind the arch, grabbing the working thread, pull out a loop, grab the working thread again and knit a new loop and yarn over from the hook.

Yarn over to knit the second stitch, repeat steps from *.

When there are 5 unknitted stitches on the hook, knit them together.

Knit “bumps” through 4 chain stitches. At the end of the row, make a joint st. in the 3rd point of the rise. There will be 10 “bumps” in total in the row.

In the third row, the number of “bumps” will double again; also make 2 “bumps” from one arch, but after 3 air stitches.

In the 4th row from each arch, knit one cone of 5 treble stitches with one vertex, after 4 chain stitches. Having completed the series of connections. Art. in the last lifting loop, cut the thread and secure the tip.

Attach a yellow thread to the center of any sunflower arch. Dial 7 air.p. and close the chain into an arch by performing st. b/n in the center there is a trace of the arch of the previous row. Having tied the center of the flower with arches in a circle, then knit circular rows of st. s/n.

Do 2 air reps. rise, knit *3 tbsp. s/n along the arch at its top from one loop, knit 3 tbsp. s/n, then 3 tbsp. s/n*, knit on the next arches, repeating from* to*.

By popular demand, I’m telling you how I knitted a sunflower
Inspired by this sunflower
I knitted another one to take a step-by-step photo.
Will need
-yarn
color: black, yellow and green. (I have cotton from YarnArt green begonia, yellow violet, black Canaris in two threads)
- black beads
-a little filler (I have holofiber)
-hook (I have No. 1)

We knit a circle of green color RLS in a spiral (i.e. without VP lifting).
1st row: knit 8 sc into a ring of thread
2nd row: 2 sc in each column of the previous row - 16 sc
3rd row: increases in every second column of the previous row, etc.
Then I make increases by eye, you can use the circle rule https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-YtR9pzGd3GA/TdeczJswy0I/AAAAAAAAAyY/GvkX7vdi0ZQ/s576/0_61d43_d2b76b2_XXL.jpg
My green circle is 4 cm in diameter, 8 rows.

Next, we tie the circle according to the pattern, insert a hook in the front half-loop.

Without poisoning the threads, we knit the leaves. Small according to the scheme, large similarly for 15VP. You need to turn the circle over.

We attach the yellow thread and tie it around the edge with half double crochets, insert the hook in the back half loop. Since my yellow yarn is thinner than green, it turned out to be 2 half-stitches in each loop. We knit the petals according to the pattern

We knit the black top circle in the same way as the green one, only it is larger in diameter than the green one. Should be approximately equal to the bottom green circle along with the yellow row of half-columns. Mine is 5cm in diameter, 11 rows. We knit the petals along the edge according to the same pattern

We trim the middle with beads. Two parts are ready

Sew along the edge of the circles, leaving a small hole. We fill the middle with filler and sew it up completely. I stitch with monofilament. This is a transparent thread, like a thin fishing line.

Ready

PS I don’t know how to knit with beads yet, so it’s easier for me to sew them on.
Please do not post on other resources. Hope for understanding
